Default Afternoon nap

When I can't sleep at night, I am always wanting a quick 20 minute power nap in the afternoon. It seems to rejuvinate me, but then when night comes again, that nap haunts me and I can't sleep.

Do you like catnaps?

I truly hate taking naps unless I am so ill that I have no choice. I think that they interrupt the day's flow and leave me too groggy to get started again.

I would prefer to function without naps as they take away valuable time, but sometimes I just need it, so I give up and take a short nap. It does help, I feel so much better and accomplish more afterwards.

I usually hate to take naps. When I wake up from one I have a headache and also stay up even more that night. But sometimes it can't be helped. I have been staying up later at night to wait for my husband to return home safely from his part time job and found myself napping with him during the day. Power naps leave me feeling worse than just being overly exhausted.

Taking a short 15 or 20 minute nap can be very refreshing. I like taking naps in the afternoon. I sleep much better during the afternoon than I do at night.

I can never make it only 15 or 20 minutes though. I need at least an hour in order for it to work, shorter time will only make me feel worse - still tired and sleepy.

When the sleep finally hits me, sometimes it hits me like a brick and I just lay down and sleep at anytime of the day or night. I may say I'm laying down to take a nap, but I've taken a 9 hour nap before.

I guess this is a common problem for most of us. I would recommend you to recommend some jobs which are physically hard just like walking for a long time. When your body get tired you would automatically get sleep.

Catnaps are a great way to recharge your energy after a busy morning routine. This is ideal for the home-based workers who have the freedom to work at the their own pace and time in the comfort of their home. After lunch, it’s tempting for many of us to take a short sleep. It can be as short as 10 minutes to as long as 30 minutes and believe me after that, one feels rejuvenated. A catnap accompanied by good relaxing music is best. Using an iPod or MP3 player plugged to your ears is best just make sure to adjust it to the right volume that won’t hurt your ears.
